uperstore are becoming a rising business in Bangladesh and
receiving higher responses from different income levels of
consumers. Among hundreds of products Supershop also offers
perishable goods to consumers. However, the supply chain of
perishable goods is difficult with so many layers and intermediaries.
Inventory management of different Supershop are different and the
overall mantainence cost eventually increases the price of perishable
goods. So lower and middle income people consider Supershop is a
place for aristocrat people and choose the local market for their
necessities. Primary and secondary data has been used for this study.
Primary data were collected through personal interviews and online
(google forms). We have also discussed with higher authorities of
various superstore to collect their view on the perishable goods
section. To solve the current supply chain, we have proposed a
different supply chain system to come up with a long term solution.
We have discussed those models in flowcharts and useful case
studies.
