The research also&nbsp;explores potential strategies for resolution. The study investigates key factors behind the price&nbsp;hike, identifies responsible parties, analyzes the overall cost of production, and proposes effective supply chain management improvements in Bangladesh. To get more authentic and feasible data we collected two types of data, primary and secondary. These data are collected by using deductive approach and different method such as surveyed questionnaire from farmers, manufacturers, and interview from government institution, observation and reading some journals, newspapers related with silk industry. The literature review is descriptive section of the research where all the important issues, definitions, theories and framework was described to understand the research more efficiently. In the literature review the thoughts about the supply chain management of silk industry, various difficulties inside the intricate network, critical analysis of demand and supply of silk industry are identified. Then using the demand curve and supply curve and also with collected data a content analysis was formed and finally through the research it is found that the lack of consistent supply of raw materials are the responsible cause behind lack of supply. The curve shows that the supply is linear and it has not changed in the last three years. Furthermore, gathering information from over 140 people. Our inquiries are constructed to provide statistical support for supply and demand. Our data study reveals that over 86% of individuals retain silk products on their lists of preferred items, however 40% of people believe the price of silk products is too expensive and therefore unaffordable. 76% of distributors believe that the high price is to blame for the lack of production resources. In every year our country has imported $1.62 million but production in domestic industry only $16.1k. This study presents a long-term framework for CHT agricultural expansion that is sustainable. The study begins by outlining the historical constraints of the CHT's agricultural economy, which was characterized by subsistence farming and intermediaries’ domination. Recent infrastructural upgrades, such as new roads, have created new prospects for growing profitable crops such as fruits and spices. However, transportation continues to be a major barrier, hindering effective supply chain management and market access.</p> <p>To maximize the potential of the agriculture business in the CHT, a sustainable supply chain management structure based on sustainability, efficiency, and traceability principles is recommended. Manufacturing, storage, transportation, packaging, marketing, and information sharing are among the sectors identified as needing improvement in the research. The study incorporates quantitative and qualitative data gathered from 50 farmers via questionnaires and interviews. Low agricultural yields, post-harvest losses, insufficient storage facilities, expensive transportation, crop damage during transit and storage, restricted market prospects, and poor information exchange are all highlighted.</p> <p>The suggested roadmap tackles these issues by encouraging better farming practices, improved storage facilities, efficient transportation networks, suitable packaging, expanded marketing options, and improved information flow. Implementing this approach would result in a more efficient, profitable, and environmentally sustainable agricultural supply chain in the CHT, which would benefit farmers, consumers, and the area as a whole. This research paper introduces a system dynamics model that focuses on the supply chain of cereal grain products, including rice, wheat, corn and others. The aim is to analyze and manage various scenarios related to supply chain management, extending from farmers to consumers. The goal is to devise effective and sustainable strategies for ensuring the accessibility of these commodities to consumers in Bangladesh. This involves designing policies that optimize supply chain efficiency while considering economic factors and uncertainties. In this paper we analyze how changes in productivity occur during seasonal production, what changes the lead time, and how changes in the variations in demand affect the performance of the supply chain. Drying these crops at the start and maintaining year-round operation of processing facilities can also help stabilize inventory and the overall supply chain for these products. This approach can enhance efficiency and reduce supply chain disruptions for various essential crops. Also, less total supply chain cost from economic operation results in less fuel consumption and hence less contribution to global warming. The model can pinpoint and analyze the most important parts of the supply chain. Customer preferences, retail amenities, and supply chain obstacles are all studied using analytical methods. Gaining a thorough knowledge of the complexity of the FMCG supply system requires a comprehensive approach.</p> <p>Findings<br>Residents in urban residential areas suffer considerable obstacles to obtaining necessary FMCG items, according to the study. These difficulties include constrained retail location choices, a smaller selection of products, and disturbed supply networks. The research also demonstrates how these problems affect customer behavior by annoying and dissatisfying locals.</p> <p>Research Implications<br>The results have important applications for politicians, retail businesses, and FMCG industries. The study's findings may be utilized to create focused interventions that promote customer happiness in urban residential regions while increasing the efficacy of supply chains and retail architecture optimization. Entities in the FMCG sector may guarantee that citizens have continuous and easy access to basic goods by resolving these issues and putting the suggested measures into practice. As a result, the general standard lifestyles will be improved, and the link between enterprises and communities will flourish. <br>Originality<br>The study offers insightful information on the intricate FMCG supply networks in metropolitan residential areas. Mango is a perishable fruit that ripens quickly at room temperature. As a result, there are many risks associated with the Fresh Mango Supply Chain (FMSC). The primary goal of our research is to reduce potential mango waste by assessing risk factors and then implementing and evaluating mitigation techniques. Based on the literature review on risk management, several surveys and interviews were carried out to find potential risks and mitigation strategies. ISM (Iterative Structural Model) and TOPSIS (Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) methodologies were applied to assess risks and mitigation strategies, respectively. Both methodologies are very effective MCDM (Multi-Criteria-Decision-Making) analysis techniques. Implementing the proposed risk management framework can help minimize the wastage of mangoes by approximately 15%. This would result in significant economic benefits for growers, shippers, and retailers, and it would also help to maximize the overall sustainability of the mango supply chain. The results indicate that mitigation strategies can significantly reduce wastage and will add value to FMSC. On this basis, by analyzing risk and applying these strategies, firms can earn profit and provide better customer satisfaction, as it will enhance supply chain sustainability and resilience by proactively identifying and addressing potential risks and increasing Bangladesh's economic growth. In this project, we have performed cost minimization for transportation problem of “Highway sweets and confectionary” Company, a well-known company for selling their sweets, pastries and cakes, dry foods in different regions from their 3 factories to different destinations. In order to address the transportation problem in Bangladesh, this model will be quite efficient as it is one of the most common manufactured food business models of Bangladesh. Here we employ Vogel’s approximation in order to get feasible solution for the reducing their cost.
